The following note was received this week about a recent crime on Westmount. As a reminder, Regal Heights is a very safe community, but it’s important to keep an eye out for suspicious behavour, and report crimes and property damage quickly to police. The following is an account by Jenny Mulkins and the details on contacting police are included below.
I just wanted to advise you, and the community that there was a break-in Tuesday night or early or Wednesday morning on Rosemount and Westmount.
My Mother was sleeping at the time and didn’t hear anything, but her laptop and purse were stolen. They came in through a very small window on her front porch and unlocked the front door.
Police have been notified. The person was obviously quite small and was possibly on a bike. They mentioned there have been similar reports of this kind of break-in in the area.
