Share your seasonal video with your Regal Heights neighbours!
We can’t get together for the traditional Regal Heights Christmas Carol Sing event. But we can still share the warm feelings of the season. Help us celebrate online! Make a short seasonal video, and send it to the Regal Heights Residents’ Association (details below). We’ll post it right here on regalheights.ca/holidays
The Regal Heights Residents’ Association presents The Gift of the Magi
A reading of the seasonal classic. Get out your candles and join us at the end for a virtual candlelight sing-along of Silent Night!
… and a story for Hanukkah
Also enjoy this reading of Zlateh the Goat: An end of Hanukkah tale, read by the late CBC As it Happens host, Fireside Al Maitland. It was written by Isaac Bashevis Singer and was originally illustrated by Maurice Sendak, the writer and illustrator of Where the Wild Things Are. Thanks to Wendy Rosenthall for the suggestion.

It’s been some years since I had my own tree, in my own apartment, and was heading out to a tree farm to pick the exact tree I liked.
Now for trimming it. A ways to go as you can see.
Wishing you, one and all, a Very Happy 2020 Christmas.
